Tami originally began working in the medical field in 1985 as a medical secretary/transcriptionist. She obtained her LPN degree in 1994 from Rowan Cabarrus Community College and then went on to obtain her RN certification from Excelsior College in 2011. The majority of her 28 year nursing career has been serving residents in the long-term care setting in various roles both on the floor and nurse manager. Tami began serving as a DON in 2015 and is excited to continue in this role at Heritage Manor.
Tami was born in Niles, OH and now lives with her husband in Howland. She and her husband have a wonderfully blended family that includes 3 children and 6 grandsons that keep life very busy.
